A network of theological education and organization leadership experts that provides consulting, coaching and training to theological institutions.
To promote a church-based movement of holistic leadership training in partnership with theological institutions.
Church leadership committed to promote a culture of leadership development, advancing multiplying churches who transform their communities and the world!
We believe that the church sits at the heart of God’s leadership development strategy as the natural, rich environment in which whole-life leadership development and discipleship can be fostered. Our final aim is to place the leadership responsibility into the hands of the local church by strengthening local theological institutions to equip the church leadership and continue to provide development and support to local churches as needed.
Connecting Churches and Institutions of Theological Education
A church will only be as healthy as its leadership. We want to strengthen local Theological Institutions to effectively equip and empower the church leadership. We encourage partnerships between local churches and theological institutions in a cooperative relationship.
Scalable and Transferable Leadership Training Approach
Our desire is to establish a Leadership training network (Theological Institutions and Churches) to ignite a movement that facilitates a paradigm shift in leadership through contextualized, transformational, transferable and sustainable leadership training.
Competency Based Leadership Training
Pastors receive high quality master-level training that changes their live, leadership and ministry through competency-based, in-ministry, and mentor-guided education.
Holistic and Continuous Development
Leaders are role models. They lead by being continuous and transformational learners. Leadership Training aims at developing the Head, Heart and Hands of Christians in and through the local church. Knowledge acquisition (Head) occurs side by side with character formation (Heart) and skills training (Hands). Learning is approached in a facilitative style and is supported by mentoring and supervised service.
Development that Transforms the Church Itself
The approach may result in the honest assessment of and desire to reshape the church’s culture as the church becomes more conscious of its own norms, practices and beliefs about discipleship and leadership development.
Leadership training implies experiential learning through Mutual respect and growth through developmental partnerships, which requires that leadership responsibilities and authority be shared. This is a departure from the traditional pastor-centric model, where the pastor is the sole caretaker of souls and wields considerable power and influence over the flock, to a five-fold leadership approach (Eph 4.11)
Sharing of Lives
Individual and community transformation takes place not only through Coaching, Mentoring, Modeling and Training. It takes place by working side by side and genuinely sharing our lives with those we serve.
We want to foster change that will transform individual lives, organizations and communities. Serving locally means entering into the lives of the local people, honoring them and building trust. In the process, our lives are transformed as much as the lives of the people we serve.
